Jake's crafty work

I have come across a handful of hilarious works of art lately so I've been trying to capture them on film. The clips on the pennies was from my craft supply that is off limits, so that's why he did it "hiding" under the kitchen table. Then of course Jake is removing the penny from Sam's mouth as I'm busy photographing :). Another was I pulled the blueberry muffins out of the oven and found Matt's hairspray lid sunken into one of the muffins. THERE it is! We were looking for it! Not sure when and how he intercepted inserting it before I put it in the oven without me noticing...
Then there's the peanut butter side of the sandwich pasted to the wall. He wanted to take credit for that one in the pic. He only likes the jelly side of the sandwich lately. Hmmm...maybe has to do with switching to natural pb without sugar!
Another one that caught my eye that I don't have a pic of is he used yogurt from breakfast, pasted it on the back of several crackers and pasted them across the pages of a book.
I feel like it's impossible to remember to write each hilarious comment down because they are constant right now but some funny quotes lately that stick out:
Every morning since Matt told Jake 5 weeks ago :) that we were going to the beach,Jake comes in with his song/chant/dance: "I -WANT-TO-GO-TO-THE-BEACH!"over and over with hip gyrations forward and back
(Jake modeling his wetsuit for every visitor, but to my mom who says) "Jake, where are you gonna wear that wetsuit!?" Jake throws his hands turned up in the air and says, "TO SURF THE PERFECT WAVE!" He think he's a surfer and a skater, thanks to our friends Jen and Christian who take him on their board when we come over!
Me: What do you want for lunch, Macaroni and cheese? Jake: No, I'm not interested in Macaroni and Cheese.
After church last week, "Jake do you want QDoba for lunch or Paradise Bakery? Jake: I ABSOLUTELY do not want Paradise Bakery!
Jake: Mommy, you are my best friend in the whole wide...city" (gee, thanks!)
Sam was fussing in the car, Jake calm and collected says, "Sam, stop fussing or I'll have to spank you when we get home." ( He has NOT heard me say that by the way!)

  1. It has GOT to be because you keep giving him those batteries to play with . . hahaha! You are a good mommy - I think I would be too upset about the peanut butter on my wall to take a picture of my smiling little boy in front of the wall. Very funny!
